'Sleepover' and Botanical Gardens

The evening before New Year's Eve, we got to watch two fun little boys, Cael and Brecon. Our kids were so excited! Annika even made Brecon hold a baby doll. He wasn't real sure what to do with it, but he was a good sport and held it while Annika read a story.
Cael and Ian and Kaelyn had so much fun playing and running around till late in the evening, Ian and Cael finally passed out in Ian's bed. Nate snuck in to take a picture just before mom and dad took the boys back home. Real sweet!

I think it was the day after New Year's that we went to the local Botanical Garden. We have a membership, but didn't get our passes until recently. Ian wasn't too excited to go there, but I think he ended up having the best time! There were stepping stones...

and monkey bars... or is it a railing?

And WHOA!

A really tall palm tree.

The outlook was a lot of fun (especially the water running down a really long gutter you could pretend twigs were boats and race them). The views were pretty nice too and here you can see how big and round my belly is getting.

There was also a cool lake and we kept running into another family with kids slightly older than ours. They got to feed the ducks and Ian got to chase them. He has this thing with chasing birds... Don't all boys?

Hurrah!! I check every day for an update. It is just so fun to see what your family is doing. Helps to bridge the huge distance gap to be able to see pictures and videos. Debbie, you just look so cute. Wish we could be more help.

Sounds like a busy fun time. Love the pictures. I agree with everyone else, you have a perfect round tummy and are just such a beautiful pregnant lady. Loved the picture of Annika with the balloon tummy. I see a mix of Kaelyn and Ian in her.
