Jodi did an amazing job teaching both Kaelyn and Ian at home. Ian still prefers to doggy paddle and can barely keep his head above the water, but he now sometimes puts his face in the water and is not afraid to jump from the high wall into the deep.
At her last meet, Kaelyn did OK, but she had been sick the week before and missed practice all week.
At the end-of-the-season swim team party, all swimmers were awarded a trophy (the older kids got medals) and Kaelyn was mighty proud to add her trophy to our growing collection ;o)

Gerechtigheid! Een trofee voor Kaelyn. Geen scheve ogen dus.Je hebt er zelf geen, maar bent wel de bron van de 3, die nu naast de T.V. staan.Het verbaast me niet, dat Kaelyn zich zo snel ontwikkeld heeft, want het is de tijd voor snelle ontwikkeling van ingewikkelder patronen van de grote motoriek. Jij hebt vanaf je vierde op diplomazwemmen gezeten, maar er zat geen enkel schot in totdat je 6 was. Toen ging het in 1 ruk. Maar het waren geen verloren jaren, het was prima voor je rug.
Felicitaties voor Kaelyn en deze keer zat ik er zelf half bij te janken, toen ik je haar hoorde aanmoedigen.Liefs, mam
