Yet another creature captured by Nate for our kids enjoyment... On Thursday evening, Nate caught this beautiful butterfly in the backyard. Then he let it go inside the house! The kids went crazy! They absolutely love butterflies and they got a chance to hold this one. It was sitting on the bathroom mirror while the kids brushed their teeth and on Ian's bedroom wall during story time. Then the doorbell rang.
The missionaries dropped by with a surprise visit. I Caught the butterfly so we could take it outside, but it flew right back inside. It got hit by the ceiling fan a few times, but it seemed to be fine. It was an exciting ten minutes before the creature was captured and finally released outside. Our home teachers had showed up in the mean time as well. I tell you, it was one of our more exciting evenings.
