Then yesterday, while I was getting the kids ready for Church, I asked Kaelyn to help Ian with his shoes. She actually patiently tried to teach him to tie his own shoes! The kids played so nicely together most of the day yesterday, I didn't hear any fighting and even Annika was included. I thanked the kids during dinner and told them how great I thought it was they were so nice to each other all day. Kaelyn promptly gave Ian a loving hug and then Annika did the same. 'We love each other.' -Sigh- It's moments like this that make everything else worth it.

Sweet Moments
On Friday afternoon, Kaelyn kept Ian entertained by reading the children's Bible to him for hours. Annika joined them too. It warms my heart that they love to read those stories so much. Kaelyn is such a great reader and her brother and sister are really benefiting from it. It also gave me some peaceful time to clean and cook.

I am so glad we have been led to this church. I love that your kids are such great examples. These babies of yours are so special and that is what I wanted for my children when my husband and I joined the church. You can tell the difference in the way a child acts when he knows Heavenly Father. I am so humbled by the thought that he made sure I was not forgotten and left behind but instead made sure the missionaries made it to my house.
Just a little peace of heaven.
I'm glad you documented that so you can go back and read it when they are fighting like cats and dogs...or maybe yours never do that!!! I miss seeing your cute kids.
My eyes are full of tears. I can feel the joy that comes from those moments. Thanks for sharing!
