On Sunday, we had a gorgeous, 80 degree weather day. Yesterday however, the temperature kept dropping and by the time Kaelyn came home from school it was pretty cold (for here). Kaelyn got out her hat, scarf and gloves and then we had to find some for Ian and Annika as well. In full winter attire and with their soccer balls in hand, they headed into what they called a 'Winter Wonderland'. They just wish they had snow to play in, these poor deprived children ;o)
I just had to take a picture. It was around 39 degrees outside and with the wind chill it felt like about 29 degrees.
Later, for Family Home Evening, we went caroling with friends. We had a good group with quite a few kids. Everyone was wearing hats and scarves, the wind made it really cold. We had a lot of fun singing Jingle Bells though. Nate and Annika shared some popcorn. Annika likes to bite off a piece and then feed Nate the rest. Pretty cute!
