Family Fun

Steve, Heather, Alex and Ben came to visit us over Memorial Day weekend. It was so nice to have them here and we were sad to see them leave yesterday morning. Our queen size air mattress has a slow leak in it, so it's half way deflated at the end of the night. Nate decided to put it in the swimming pool and the kids had a blast on the floating 'island'. I wish I had taken some pictures. On Monday, we all went to the zoo and rode the zoo train. We got to see one of the lions roar. It was way too hot though.

On Tuesday we got to go to Sea World. We picked Kaelyn up from school early (she was so excited) and drove across town. We started the day with feeding the dolphins and I think that was one of the highlights for the kids.

They also loved the Shamu roller coaster and the splash place where they could get wet and cool down. Kaelyn and Alex went on the roller coaster together over and over again. They really had fun together. On Wednesday evening we had our last dinner together and ice cream in the backyard afterward. Thursday morning, Ian asked me where he was going for preschool and I told him it was at Alice and Nellie's house. Annika asked: "Alex and Ben House?" We wish we could go there soon!
