Can we go swimming?

Ian told me this morning that I had said I wanted to go swimming on my birthday. I didn't recall that. I told him it's probably not going to be warm enough to swim. His reply: 'But if you're in the water for a while, it will cool up and get warmer.' It's been a chilly morning, but it looks like this will be a gorgeous Spring day. It's sunny and bright and the forecast said it will get up into the 70s today. Perfect weather!!! (Not for swimming though).

Later on, Annika got into the drawer with swimsuits and pulled out her swimsuit and a swim diaper. She started tugging on her pants and diaper and I helped her take it off. She needed a diaper change anyway (yeah, the potty training is kind of sporadic right now). I ended up putting a regular diaper under her swim suit and she wanted to watch cartoons. This little girl really loves to swim. The water is her element and she's like a little fish, she enjoys it so much.
